Colorado 2008 - The Democrats - The Democrat National Convention

To the delight and thrill of the Democrats and their supporters in the news media the Democrat National Convention began in Denver today.

Although he does not talk politics much these days my friend, "Jim" had a memorable line about the proceedings today -

"There is rain, and there is hail. There is a tornado. There is blight and famine. There is disease and rot.

Given the Democrats' love of symbolism the signs of the apocalypse can't bode well for them."
